Knocksharry's Dream

Cornascriebe Glenpatrick x Master Imp r 16.2hh 2014 Bay Irish Sports horse gelding

MJ is owned by Mike Hall and was his first horse.  MJ started eventing in 2019 as a 5-year-old and quickly worked out how much fun it was. Although he has an unconventional show jumping technique, he is very careful and really wants to  leave all the poles up and has achieved excellent results. He has this year competed at Intermediate with an excellent record

MJ is also one of the cheekiest on the yard. He has an eye for treats so keeping half an eye on him is always a good idea, or you may find your pocket being chewed!.  He is very interested in trying out things in his mouth , including  yard brushes, coats and whatever he can get in his mouth!
We really rate MJ e

FMSH Highway

Pointilliste x Carrick Diamond Lad

16.2hh 2015 liver chestnut Irish sports horse gelding

Tiger was sourced in Ireland . He returned here to be backed by Sam and as a big horse has been given all the time he needs. He is another seriously exciting horse with a superb jumping technique, loads of blood in his pedigree and successful relations down the dam line. Tiger is gentle and a very sweet boy. Assuredly destined for the top, he has had some great results this year.

Chapel House

Sibon x Dicksgrove Coleen ex The Orphan by Carnival Knight

16.2hh 2014 bay Irish sports horse gelding

Joey has been ridden by  Sam since he was five and has been a fine servant - honest and capable he has worked his way up through the grades.

He jumped his first advanced at Allerton Park last year over a gladatorial course and came home ready for the next season

Mister Big Ears

Cruising Micky Finn x Coevers Diamond Boy

16.2hh 2015 bay Irish sports horse gelding

Big Ears is Irish bred and was instantly loved by everyone.   He arrived from the Emerald Isle as a raw three year old, looking about 6 months behind his other 4-year-old buddies but is now really growing into himself (although he’s never grown into his ears). Cruising up through the grades he is now confident and reliable at intermediate / 3*. He’s quick in his mind and just as bold, facing traffic as a 4-year-old without so much as batting an eyelid.  He has a great technique and loads of scope and a great gallop = watch this space!!

The Godfather

Obos Quality ex The Godmother

16.2hh 2015 bay Irish sports horse gelding

Jason is Irish bred and oozes class.   He has everything - elegance, grace, movement jump - outstanding gallop. He’s clever and bold and will face  any fence cross country or show jumping with  scope to die for.  In addition he does everything right. He has great conformation, he is a good eater, easy in the stable, a great traveller and a lovely perso

BoleyBawn Lecrae

by Boleybawn Ecstacy ex Boleybawn Luxella

Patrick  is a big, good looking talented but slow maturing irish bred gelding with a big jump.

He has stepped up the grades easily and confidently ending his season with a great 3*S at Ballindenisk where he skipped round the cross country in the worst weather I have ever ridden in. He is a really friendly individual who loves a stroke and a treat. He is now ready to consolidate at 3*  this year.  I am really looking forward to seeing him progress.

The Poet

by Obos Quality ex Thorncliffe by Cruising

2017

This lovely horse is by the same sire as Jason, the Godfather. He has the most unbelievable jump and he moves really well - loose and ground covering. He is also the worlds nicest person and really people friendly. He is showing real ability as a show jumper. This is a horse in which my grandfather had a share and so we call him Mole in the stable  in honour of him, who was known as Mr Mole due his prowess in catching moles
